#PetrosainsAfterHours: The Secret Life of Streets: Active Street-Healthy City

Description
We will examine how city streets and city street life can be more walk-friendly and alive for all users, regardless of income and opportunities. City streets serve many purposes—as corridors for cars and buses, as walking routes, as a platform for commercial activities, and, often, a vibrant street life. However, some street areas have also become uninviting to the public due to many factors such as congestion and safety. Hence, we will explore the challenges that cities face and how communities are restoring streets, adding to their commercial vibrancy and leading to healthier lifestyles.

For youths and adults, 16 years old and above ONLY.

Once received your confirmation of attendance, please make an effort to show up.

Refreshments will be provided.

This session is hosted by PETROSAINS and presented to you by Wayne Feiden, FAICP, Director Planning & Sustainability, City of Northampton.
